Whippet is another one that used a similar rim and 19 inch tires. Steel disc were the most common for Chevy in '29, and I think still optional in '30 when wires became the most common. I have seen several of them with wire wheels. In 1929, Chevrolet was sold with either wood or steel disc wheels, and maybe even wire wheels late in the year.
